The COSA group will be presenting an exhibition entitled The Color of Electrons from October 2 to 20, 2023 in the Hall of the Chimie Balard Recherche building as part of the Fête de la Science.
The Color of Electrons is the brainchild of two photographers and microscopy engineers: Didier COT and Bertrand REBIERE.
Their singular approach to science and the use of the electron microscope reveal poetic images of an imaginary reality. The project revolves around photographs that are both dark and flamboyant, offering a bridge between a documentary narrative and the unconscious processes of the image. The project’s ambition is to trigger physical emotions for the public who immerse themselves in the images, and to question our relationship with the world.
COSA will host a vernissage on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 9am in the lobby of the Research building, where visitors can enjoy a coffee and pastries.
