The MOFSIM 2024 congress will be held from April 10 to 12, 2024 at the Institut de Botanique in Montpellier.

Co-organized by our colleague Guillaume Maurin of the Département Matériaux Poreux et Hybrides (D3) at the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier, this congress aims to address the current status, limitations and prospects of computational tools applied to metal-organic frameworks, with a particular focus on four main topics: data management and standardized data; electronic structure methods and derived properties; reliable characterization and modeling of mesoscale systems linking length and time scales; and the numerical approaches needed for tailor-made MOF systems for real-world applications.

During the congress, computer modelers and experimentalists will share their expertise on these four topics. Each theme will be introduced by a renowned plenary speaker, and several guest speakers are expected. A poster session and oral contributions are also included.
Registration for this event is now open, and can be accessed via the link below.
