Sylvain Catrouillet graduated his Master in material and polymer science from National School of Chemistry of Mulhouse in 2011. He completed his PhD in 2014 at the University du Maine (Le Mans, France), his research focussed on the self-assembly of supramolecular nanocylinders by hydrogen bonded block co-polymers. He completed his post-doctoral position in the group of Prof. Sébastien Perrier at the University of Warwick, researching the self-assembly of cyclic peptide-polymer conjugates. In 2016, he joined the team Ingénierie et architectures macromoléculaires at the University of Montpellier, where he is currently working as an assistant professor.

Thème de Recherche

  • Study of the self-assembly of polymers in solution and the influence of the chemical structure on the architecture by scattering techniques
  • Development of new dynamic architecture by combining team expertise in polymer synthesis and hydrogen bonding self-assembling systems
