The expected thesis projects must involve a candidate, a host laboratory, a thesis director and a co-funding partner (public or private).
ADEME will be the employer of the doctorant.et will finance up to 50% of the doctoral student's remuneration.Applications may exceptionally be 100% financed by ADEME (in particular work in the humanities and social sciences).
The thematic priority areas of research are as follows:

  • Preservation and restoration of environments and resources in a context of climate change
  • Circular economy with a view to resilience
  • Ecological transition of energy and industrial systems for carbon neutrality
  • Ecological transition and society

This program is not intended to fund thesis work in fundamental research.

Target audience: Master's level with enrolment in a Doctoral School between October 2021 and October 2022
