
Deborah Jones of the Chemistry of Materials, Nanostructures and Materials for Energy Department at the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier (ICGM) has just been awarded the Women in H2 Innovation Award at Hydrogen Week, held in Brussels in November.
Dedicated to encouraging the participation of women in the development of clean hydrogen technologies, the award will be presented for the first time in 2024.
This distinction honors Deborah Jones’ outstanding work and significant contributions to the advancement of research and innovation in the hydrogen sector, a key area for the global energy transition.

Deborah Jones’ work focuses on the development and analysis of materials used in hydrogen technologies, particularly in fuel cells and proton-anion exchange membrane electrolyzers. Deborah has authored or co-authored over 250 publications, and has obtained several patents for inventions related to materials used in fuel cells and electrolyzers.
