Deborah Jones of the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier (ICGM Montpellier) has just been named a Fellow of the IInternational Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) in recognition of her work in the field of hydrogen electrochemistry.

She is one of four researchers to be honored as an ISE 2024 Fellow at a ceremony to be held this summer during the 75th annual ISE congress in Montreal. Fellows are nominated and selected on the basis of their scientific contributions.

Deborah Jones is also a Fellow of ECS – The Electrochemical Society, the other international electrochemical society. She is one of only 3 French researchers to be a Fellow of both the ISE and the ECS.

The ISE was founded in 1949 by leading European and American electrochemists in response to growing developments in electrochemistry. The ISE includes members from over 70 industrialized and developing countries on all continents.
